The mobile phone is the invention that has revolutionized communications. A variety of things can be done with it, from making a call to making a photo, or from writing an email to watching an internet video. It has many advantages, but also some negative points that it is necessary to know.

On the one hand, mobile phones have improved communication between people and the search of information. For instance, now,  we can talk to a person who is in the United States from Spain. In addition, with the arrival of the Internet we can find out all the news that happens in the world in a matter of seconds. Added to that, with the social media tool we can share photos and videos with our friends and also interact with people from other countries. It should be pointed out that it is a tool that not only helps in the social field but also in the academic field since we carry a portable encyclopedia of the size of a hand.

On the other hand, however, not everything that the phone has brought with it has been good. By this, I mean that although it has positively improved many aspects of our daily lives it has also had negative points. An example of a negative point would be the addiction to mobile phones and social networks. Many children and adolescents in the twenty-first century spend their free time playing games on the mobile phone or simply watching videos on YouTube. Nevertheless, that did not happen at the time of my parents; in their free time they used to went out with other children to play hide and seek or marbles. In this way, they did not sit all day at home, as most children nowadays. And not only does it affect that way, but it can also take away study time.

In conclusion, the mobile phone is a tool that has many advantages that can make our lives easier. However, it is necessary to learn to use it responsibly since, on the contrary, we could end up using it in excess.
