30. My worst habit

All people have bad habits. Eating junk food or eating late at night, biting one's nails or even abusing of technology are examples of these. They are not correct and are actions that it is recommended that we leave behind by not doing them anymore. In my case I consider that I have two bad habits that I have to fix as soon as possible. On the one hand, to procrastinate, and on the other, to leave things everywhere.


On the one hand, I have the great mistake of procrastinate, in other words, of leaving the assignments for the very last moment. This action may be due to the fact that in primary and secondary school the volume of work I had to do was not much and I didn't really feel the pressure to do it at the same time; I could leave it for later and I still had time to do it. This also happened with the exams. Because there wasn't much material to study I could leave it for the last moment and still get good grades. As a consequence of this habit, I even spent a sleepless night in A levels. Procrastinating almost took its toll on me. From that moment on, I try to do things with time so that, if something unexpected happens, I know that I have enought time left . In addition, now at the university, I also realize the importance of being up to date with assignments.


On the other hand, another habit I'm working to stop is to leave my stuff everywhere I move. By this I mean that I can be one of those people who when they brush their teeth leave the toothbrush right there, next to the sink, or when they take something from a drawer they leave it open or if they take off their shoes in the bathroom they can leave them there for days without picking them up. I'm really that kind of person: clueless and a little messy. I have to say that as the first step is to admit it, now I'm working on erasing it from my life. Lately, I am trying to apply a motto to my daily life: "Leave things the same or better than they already were". And the truth is, it's working. I'm doing great.


In short, since bad habits are not correct, I am trying not to do actions like prograstinate or not to pick my things up.
